Accommodates guests of hotel by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

  • Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests. Issues room key and escort instructions to Bellhop.
  • Computes bill, collects payment and makes change for guests.
  • Posts charges such as room, food, liquor or telephone to ledger.
  • Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, travel directions and other resort information.
  • Deposits guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box.
  • Designs and displays information window for hospitalities.
  • Maintains the brochure rack in the hotel by filling it and getting new brochures when necessary.
  • Takes deposit to the bank.
  • Works Switchboard when needed.
