Spa Massage Therapist - Part-Time SPA Summary:The Massage Therapist administers professional massage and body treatment to our guest. They mush have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modallities, posses a general understanding of body treatment offerings. they must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of the guest. They must hold and maintain a current state license. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Be on time for you shift, promt with each appointment and perform services with the appropriate time alloted for the services. Provide Consistent professional massage and body treatment in accordance with the spa protocols and accepted certification practices. Effectively inform and educate our guest about specifice wellness concerns and products. Be flexible with your schedue, supporting the needs of the spa. Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost control. Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered. Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and spa's policies and procedures. Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required. Communicate to management any and all occurrences involing staff or guest in the spa that require attention. Activiely promote the spa treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promaotions and/or discount available. Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously. Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guest. Possess the ability to work without dirct supervision. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute towarda quality work environment. Regulary attend, participarte in and support training and staff meetings for the spa. Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management. Communicate to management andy and all occureences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
