Sporting Clays Grille - Bartender - Part-Time Bar Service Summary Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Takes orders from customers or Bar Waiter/Waitress. Takes orders for and serves light meals and hors d'oeuvres. Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks. Serves wine and draft or bottled beer. Collects money for drinks served. Uses cash register to record sales and make change. Orders or requisitions liquor and supplies. Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display. Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks. Replenishes bar snacks such as chips, pretzels, and nuts. Handles overly intoxicated patrons in a manner that does not jeopardize the customers safety or that of the other patrons in the lounge.
